Skyline High School
Skyline High School is a public school in Dallas, Texas. It is part of the Dallas Independent School District and accepts students from ninth through twelfth grades. Skyline High School offers a comprehensive educational experience, offering courses in English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, health and physical education, career and technical education (CTE), fine arts, and many elective courses.
History
Skyline High School opened its doors to students in 1961 and has become an essential part of the Dallas community. For over 50 years, it has provided a rigorous academic curriculum and a safe environment for student learning. Skyline is known for its diverse student body, which includes students from all backgrounds and cultures.
The school also boasts many successful alumni, including former NFL player Jerry Jones (Dallas Cowboys owner), television personality Hilary Duff, musician Erykah Badu, and actor John Leguizamo. Skyline High School's legacy of excellence continues today with high graduation rates and numerous awards awarded by faculty members and students.
